CraftRoots Brewing, located in Milford, MA is the first 100% woman-owned "brick-and-mortar" brewery in the history of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They are a 7-barrel brewery with taproom, serving eight different beer styles daily. By sourcing all of their malt and most of their hops from small New England farms, sustainability and community are at the core of their business. In addition, they work exclusively with craft maltsters in Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine. All used brewing ingredients are recycled by being sent to local farms in Medway and Millis, MA and fed to the cows. The goal of this shoot was to feature the use of local ingredients while offering a glimpse of the brewing process, taproom and the owners, Maureen and Robin Fabry.
"Paige has that natural ability to capture the essence of a person in a professional yet personal light. She effortlessly understood the subtleties of my profession as a craft brewer and intricately told the story of the brewing process through her images, selecting moments that are interesting and not often understood or seen. Our use of locally-grown and crafted ingredients (grain, hops) is central to our purpose and she imaginatively incorporated that into the images she created. She has a calm and comfortable way of working together with you and is extremely talented. Thank you for taking the very best images we have ever seen of our local brewery and taproom!" - Maureen Fabry
